As I See It....: remembering the Jenkins

As I See It....: remembering the Jenkins: Robert M Ramstad I,m trying to write. I spend a lot of time thinking about the past. I don,t know if this is true for all older people...

Sorry cheryl,  there is a huge difference between mercenaries and GI,s. I feel sorry for those who sold there souls for a small salary (small), then they come home minus eyes, ears, legs, arms etc.  You will notice that officers don,t suffer,  don,t suffer from PTSD and they don,t suffer loss of body parts.  when was the last time you heard of officers leading- instead of drinking champagne.  our present group of mercenaries are heading for the gutter just as the Vietnam GI,s did/are.. The US gov,t always tries to limit care after the service of the GI is over.  They are only interested in buying more weapons so they can prepare to be hero,s,  These hero,s? inhabit the joint chiefs, in the pentagon and they,re always looking for people to kill so they can defend the flag, get more medals and a promotion.  they give lip-service to the fighting men and women of America.. There is one other thing that should be noted.  while claiming victory the facts speak differently.  The United States has lost every war we,ve been from Vietnam to this day.. as we are runout of both Iraq and afganistan, and Vietnam. Let us never forget.
