Rocky has taken a shine to maggie may the bassett hound next door...He has not shown any interest in her ..and considered her to be nuisance...but still he pees on the tree on the corner of their property. I've always tried to get rocky to pay attention to her, but she is such a bunch wiggling squirming zest for life...hopping and running around her enclosure that she makes his eyes cross...anyway today we all met (including fate) at the gate...Apparently she is coming in heat..and her owner invited rocky in...I was suprised. rocky of course --playing the role of the lion king...came in but paid no attention to maggie. maggie for her part went crazy... she was a little afraid of rocky and he magnificently ignored her...until finally she sneek over and kiss his paw...it was so cute...i could hardly believe my eyes...but she did it 3 or 4 times until finally his lordship decided to sniff butt.. maggie would run over to fence and role in the leaves to present for rocky and he was greedily laping up her sweetness...In the middle of all this maggie mays owner was grabbing maggie front legs and rolling and keepingher legs up for rocky...it was quite the sight....
So, Rocky's in love.. she is a cutie soft and supple and such a zest for life..
I think their puppies will be beautiful...she gold and honey coloried...
