AK comes to visit

Ok,  so last night some people stopped by to inquire if  the golden lab they had in their Black Suv was rocky?  It was immediately obvious that a mistake was made as Rocky bolted! out the door for a pet.  The Golden lab,  barking in the car, looked suspiciously like Bailey, the golden lab that I've been taking to the river, once a week.  However, it could have been the other golden lab that lives across the street from Baily.   Yup! we have 3 golden labs living within a 100 yds of each other.  But, bailey has been known to sneak under his fence and come over hopping for a ride.
In other news, AK should up a few days ago.
I was sitting with my good friend Allen.  " My deadbeat, unemployed, pot-head friend Allen"!
Anyway, AK came rushing in as usual.
But he's not a puppy anymore.  I was happy to see him.
After running around the coffee table and kindly clearing it off, he graciously ate our last two pieces of pizza!!
He made space for my laptop which was  in danger of falling off my stool...
With Allen sitting on top of the couch, I noticed AK eyeballing my computer chord, I wrapped it up and visited AK.   He looked really good, shiny short black coat and all muscle.
Rocky doesn't mind him too much anymore...but wonders why the Mongolian invasion!.  AK for his part was wearing a shock collar.  he still doesn't have a collar and tags.  He's extremely smart and follows my directions.  He shows no socialization skills...hence the shock collar,  but he knows that he is 2nd fiddle to Rocky, bowed down to Rocky and wanted to play.
Allen volunteered to see if anyone was home,  and reported people in garage were partying.  So, after checking to see if he knew how to sit and laydown and chatting with him and telling him to "keep a big heart"  Fist to Heart and pointing to him, to him.
I sent him home.
They never missed him.

Answer to Mr. Waltz Green Berate

Mr. Waltz,
You fail in significant way to explain what the Wests goals are?  Originally we went into Afghanistan to claim retribution for 9/11.  With the loudly announced death of Osama bin Laden.  And, The eradication of most of the members of the infamous "Deck of Fifty"  Including Sadam Hussien and Omar Gadafi , the collapse of Iraq, Libya and the destabilization of Syria,  one would think the goals of the Dept of Defense were met. ?
Question: What did you win?
Question:  What are your goals now?
Why should we stay in Afghanistan?
I have an answer.
American citizenry are much more knowledgeable of Islam and the behavior of Muslims across the globe.  I personally, looked at relationships across the globe starting with Gibraltar and the invasion of Muslims into Spain.  I looked at the friction between Muslims in Turkey, Russia, China and any other place where Muslims and others abide.  The Coup-de-gras, Though was Egypt, where after having a Democratic election, which elected the Muslim Brotherhood to power. The Muslim Brotherhood immediately embarked on installing a Islamic Theocracy.  This blatant subversion of Democratic principles so alarmed the moderate forces of Egypt, that  Al Sisi the Commander of the Armed services moved to remove the Muslim Brotherhood from power.and install a secular military dictatorship.  A radical solution to a radical problem.
America has learned!  The American military has a long term knowledge of Islam and Muslims.  We know the Basic tenents of Islam is foricible, violent Jihad and the imposition of Sharia Law.  Islam is incompatable with democracy.  This is why we must stay in Afgahanistan.
The @CIA of course loves to cause trouble across they globe.  You could almost here the chuckle coming out of the Pentagon when they were meddling in Georgia and Checthnya, poking the Russians in the eye.  One can only imagine what The @CIA is up to in the restive areas of China...hahahah it's so much fun..#kittiekutter play.

I think that the USA/NATO, the Russians and Chinese, the Egyptians and all others who believe in a secular gov;t should all join forces in a fight against Islam and our goals should be:  Islam renouncing Violent jihad, conversion and the imposition of Sharia, Catholic,or Jewish law.

Letters to Israel

The author of this article* (below) is messed up...not fit to run, not fit for the Knesset, not fit to write.

Israel has had 50 yrs to learn to get along..Israel needs to lead like the Camp David accords. Instead Israel has chosen to use violence, apartheid and to treat Palestinians as rats to be exterminated.  AS a matter of fact Israel is treating Gaza on a pogrom basis much as European treated Jews..Its a sad legacy and one that America should not support..

After 50 years of cheering for Israel,  i withdraw my support.. and want Israel to support itself.
One last observation regarding Iran and that is simple, if Israel wants Iran to be inspected by (IAEA outsiders) so should Israel..

I'm encouraging my Gov't to withdraw support for Israel at least until the Gaza strip blockade is broken.  Israel Needs to come under IAEA inspections..Under Netanyahu Israel has shown its teeth to the west...As if a Palestinian life  has no value...Israel is going to pay a huge price for for its warlike deeds and attitude.
I have asked the president to park a warship off Gaza to insure the safe passage in and out of Gaza and to let Israel know that time is running out and killing Americans will not be tolerated.

God threw the Jews to the four winds,  Jews have disobeyed Gods commandment to be born again.  If Israel was welcome in Palestine, God would have cleared the way.  But Israel has not heard from God,  He has not cleared the way.  I personally believe the promised land is Heaven which Jews who are not born again will never see. Jews will continue to suffer until the day they get on their knees and ask God for forgivness and accept the Good News of Jesus Christ !

Torture report

Our Government should not be a hideout for torturers.
It's time to bring the #kittiekutter torturers to justice. Low level offenders should have personnel records black marked. Hi-level #kittiekutters should serve time. The highest should face firing squad.
These people do not (at least i hope) represent American values, ideology or Democracy

Vertical & Sack Gardening 2015

This is a picture of my garden labors in 2015.  The scallions are actually leeks which have been thinned.  The purple thing in the middle is one of my turnips which I'm trying for the first time.  Why, you ask?  That my friend relates to the cooking and eating revolution that I've been undergoing for some time now.  We'll leave it for another day.
Note the radishes?  I just planted them ...seems like yesterday.  Which brings about the most important piece of advice I can give to you and that is "Ground Temperature"  I didn't realize the importance of G-temp. until i Purchased a thermometer.  That goes back to my attempts to bake bread..another story for another day.  Suffice it to say that you shouldn't plant anything until your G-temp  is at least 55* and a warm forecast for at least the next two weeks...In Spokane, WA., the spring temps are cool and variable.  It's normal for the sun to come out with 70* days for a week, and everyone gets out and plants, only to see their plants germinate followed by the deep freeze for 3 weeks.  Remember the air temperature varies greatly but the G-temp is steady.  I planted radishes in may only to see them succumb to low temps and weeds.  The ones pictured were planted middle of July and jumped out of the ground to take their place next to cucumbers, cluster tomatoes and carrots.
I have a very tiny yard and a good garden spot is hard to find.  My garden is 2x30ft between the garage and house, plus, a 10x6 spot in front yard. The only other sunny spot is my driveway.  This is why I'm experimenting with vertical and sack gardening.  The sacks are oat sacks that are perforated at the factory for aeration plus they are dark and absorb heat.
To start roll the sacks down and fill with about 4 in of soil.  Plant your potato (make sure it hasn't been treated with spud-nip) they won't germinate.. The idea is as the potato grows you unroll the sack and keep filling it with compost until the sack is full hopefully with new potatoes in August/September.  My bags are deforming but who cares, they'll only be used for one summer...I have high hope for my potatoes, both red and yellow.  I have 3 sacks sitting on a small 4x6 patio.  I have one sack in the driveway. I'm also growing multiple potatoes in a 30 inch tree planter.  You will be amazed at how much your plant and worms will eat.  I can't wait to see how many pounds of potatoes i will harvest.  I don't even have to dump them.  Just slice the sides.  Ok, i admit I'll need help rolling over the tree planter pot.

The vertical garden is another experiment.  I have trouble growing in small pots...it seems you either have root rot or you forget to water them, so I've selected 5 gal containers.  They're free if your willing to scrounge.

Backside of vertical garden
This summer I've only got 6, so they're stacked 3-2-1. To prepare them I'm drilling 3, 1" holes drilled vertically up the side and one hole on the bottom edge.  This is so i can check them for dampness (stick your finger in the hole). When you start they won't need much water, but in august when they are mature and ready to fruit..you'll have to water them every day.  If it rains hard they will drain immediately and keep the soil damp not drowned.  In the picture below, you can see how I've stack them.  Next summer, I'm hoping to stack them 5 high and create a hanging garden.  I'll need 15 total buckets! I'm going to fill them with herbs, flowers and hanging plants like cucumbers.  If your going high you better have concrete underneath!

front side (sunny side) of vertical garden
In the backside picture, you can see the large black tree planter I've filled with potatoes.  I started with about 4 in of soil and put four potatoes equi-distance apart.  I use to worry about overheating the soil but i understand that plants love hot soil.  I've been keeping track and haven't gotten close to 85 F. my worry point. Whats happens is, as the weather warms my potatoes have grown and they are now shading their home.  I may paint my 5 gal containers black to absorb the spring sun.  The most important thing to remember is the difference between morning G-temp and afternoon G-temp.  The smaller the pot, the more heat loss overnight.  Plants need warm soil.  So, the longer it takes the pot to warm up,   the longer  before the plant will start growing.  This is why the large planter does better, it holds its' temp.  It is essentially a raised planter, but with a higher G-temp.
In the front side picture, you can clearly see one of my potato sacks. as i said this sack started only about 6 in high and I've been adding to the sack as the potato plant grows.  Now it has approximately twice as much volume as the 5 gal. buckets.  I've been trimming the plants back to stimulate the potato growth.  Again, we'll have to wait to the end.  The red planter, is a Mexican style planter.  You normally see them bracketing sidewalks with flowers etc. I like this planter, it has thick porous walls that retain the heat.  The thick walls seem to absorb water also, so that is a plus.  I'm growing a zinnia and a pepper plant.  The zinnia is the last of my zinnias to flower ( I'm still waiting,   The pepper plant, on the other hand has outgrown the zinnia and is he only pepper-plant to produce a pepper so far.  I'm not sure why? but the logical course is to dedicate my large black planter to pepper plants next summer.  If i want more heat i can put a clear plastic bag over it.

Summer squash/black planter 2014

This leads to the conclusion that i may be able to grow okra or better still watermelon.  The picture of the large squash hanging in/from the ladder is a picture from last summer.  It actually grew three of these squash.   So, watermelon may do well in the large black planter.
Orange zinnia

The rest of the pictures are of my zinnias.

Pic of rose, violet and orange zinnias
yellow zinnia
harvest 08/10/2015 : leeks etc.
I really love zinnias, they are super tough flowers that can compete in the garden.  I also love the way they develope.  They open and put out a row of petals, so you know the color.  Then they put out another row, and another, and another until they're fully grown which is about 4 in.  the whole process takes about a month..   I get to know my zinnias on a personal basis and if you cut them , they will last about a week.  They're really great and the bees come back every day to pollinate them.  Helps keep the bees away from my other plants that i have to dust for mites or aphids.  Zinnias come in a variety of colors including yellow, pink, rose, violet and even orange.  In the background you can see a plant with large leaves.  This is a tobacco plant that was given to me this spring.  As it grows taller, i keep harvesting the leaves.  When cured the leaves take on a beautiful brown patina.  They smoke well?, so I'm going to be rolling some cigars this fall.  Thank god for the Internet!
I love my garden, it keeps me busy, and i love being part of the crawler society of retired or disabled people.  I also enjoy watching paint dry..you'd be amazed at what you can see by sitting still.
PEACE OUT !

Malka Zeckler  a day ago

Robert Ramstad: are you a Christian Missionary acting in the Holy Land, trying to convert Jews? Let me assure you that you have a serious mistake. The Nation of Israel is communicating with our G-d on a daily basis, and He is "clearing the way" for its sons and daughters to be in-gathered into Zion, as you most probably see. G-d has intensified His efforts to redeem Israel to its Holy Land for the past 500 years, He facilitated their return to Zion from 102 countries, as prophesied. However Israel's enemies are in denial and continue to spread their lies throughout the world, and spend all their wealth, Jihadists and suicide bombers to stop the unstoppable process of Israel forthcoming Redemption, which is happening despite your "good news". Incidentally, if jesus is G-d and\or Messiah why do you expect his "second coming", he should have finished his job and\or lasted for ever and ever. Many Christians became atheists\liberals because of your inherent refutations.

I'am a simple Christian.  I don't claim to understand every thing.  I think Jews argue about single words, dots and dashes for thousands of years...confusing everyone and grabbing power away from mere Jews or Christians like me.  Evangelical Christians worship the Old testament, part of the bible way to much...in order to instill fear, guilt, and action towards killing under protection of faith..  This causes wars and pogroms and all sorts sorts of hatred,  which we see in the United States regarding a womens right to choose..
I refuse to pray with them, for fear of being filled with their awful hatred. If this hatred were allowed they would be hating on Jews, instead of women.  Evangelicals end up hating everyone who is not them.  That is why i don't attend organized churches who base their health on creating fear.  Your high rabbis' do the same thing.   That is why Bibi always instills fear of Iran or some other bogey man.
I understand (from old testament) that the Persians took care of the Jews for 600 years.  So! why the hatred? Why the fear?  Iran and Israel are bookends in the middle east.  By working together with the USA/NATO and Turkey and the Kurds, Jordan.  The middle east can take a new more positive, safer, stable future, without the "Great Powers" dividing the middle east into what they think is right..
Margret,  You claim that God is working in Israel,  I beg to differ!  When Israel stood outside Jericho, God blew the walls down and cleared the way for Israel.  I have seen no such action from God in Israel since Israel was founded.  Instead constant war, constant killing, constant terror - on both sides.  My new testament tells me that God has abandoned Israel (tribe) because Jews wanted to have God just for themselves and didn't proselytize .  This is why God sent Jesus Christ to redeem the world and not just the Jews.  God wants Jews to accept Jesus Christ as their personal savior, so he can forgive Israel and share the 'Good News" of Jesus Christ a Jew.  Israel is Gods chosen people.  BUT:  You must be born again if you wish to see God in Heaven.  Jews must Reject their Rabbis' that preach the old testament and reject Christ. They have their backs up against their God for 2000 yrs. Suffering thru the diaspora, pogams and the final solution...Don't you see it?  When you keep trying the same thing for 2000 yrs and keep getting beat up...you would think Israel would learn ?  Jews, "Israel" need to get down on your knees..ask forgiveness and accept Jesus Christ and the good news of your redemption..  Why is that so Hard to do ?  God wants to forgive Israel.. He wants to wrap his arms around Israel and give you guys a Big Hug... and welcome Israel back.  He will also forgive all the generations led astray.  This is what I'm compelled to tell you this morn....Godspeed.
